Hale dated the Wizards of Waverly Place actor from 2007 to 2009. During her two-year romance with the Disney star, she guest-starred on his show alongside Selena Gomez.

The actress was briefly linked to The Cab keyboard player in 2010.

Hale confirmed in 2018 that she wrote her 2014 song "Lie a Little Better” about her Pretty Little Liars costar.

"For years, people had asked me what that song was about or who it was about and I was like, 'I should just tell them,' and then I was like, 'No, I should just tease people for a little bit,'" she told ET. ”So for years, I didn’t tell anyone. Then finally the other week, it came on my shuffle, and I was l like, 'Yeah, this song is about Drew.’ … I had a crush on Drew. It was years ago.”

Hale and Zylka called it quits after less than one year of dating in September 2012. He slammed her on social media at the time, tweeting, "Don't have a girlfriend — she decided she was too good.”

The actor, who was briefly engaged to Paris Hilton, later clarified, "Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love."

The CW star confirmed to Us in June 2013 that she was seeing the actor. Several months later, Us confirmed that they went their separate ways.

Us confirmed in June 2014 that Hale split from the country singer after several months of dating because "it was hard with the distance."

Hale first cozied up to the Lawson drummer in September 2014. They were last spotted together the following March.

Hale was spotted on a hike with the season 23 Bachelor during the summer of 2020. While a source told Us in July 2020 that the pair “had been hanging out and casually dating in a non-traditional way due to the pandemic,” their relationship never went anywhere.

Hale was spotted kissing the Riverdale actor, who is 20 years her senior, in February 2021. The pair called it quits three months later, with a source telling Us, “It was more of a trial run. ...
